I'm not exactly sure what or who I am right now, so I've decided that a process of elimination might be a reasonable place to start. If someone were to have to go into my garage because say, I died, it might occur to them that I was a hoarder. But I assure you, I am not purposefully saving broken vacuum cleaners, malfunctioning telecom equipment and mysterious boxes of paperwork. Nor have I purposeful created and impassable mountain of file cabinets and miscellaneous items.
I'm lazy. The file cabinets are supposed to help me organise those mysterious boxes of papers. Maybe I have a strange attachment to one of the vacuum cleaners or I'm just afraid ill need to strip them for parts someday.
But psychology today has assured me, a messy garage does not make a hoarder.
